Programme of the day

TimeActivity
Welcome, introduction to the day and to body composition.
Ultrasound on the anatomical specimen in the dissection room: identifying the layers (skin, subcutaneous tissue, fascia, muscle) with the ultrasound image on screen.
Classroom, on a living person among the participants: ultrasound and anthropometry.
Ultrasound–anatomy correlation: direct observation of the dissected region (adipose tissue, fascia, muscle, any fatty infiltration).
Lunch break.
Ultrasound on the dissected specimen and comparison with what was recorded before the dissection.
Critical reading of the data collected, discussion and links between functional assessment, ultrasound imaging and real anatomy.
